Silk Path Boutique Hotel Hanoi

The staff is incredible. They are sweet and personable! They make you feel at home!The location of this hotel in Hanoi couldn't be better. You can walk to everything. The energy and activity around the lake is palpable, especially on the weekends!

Right on the walking lake! Front desk and breakfast staff were exceptional.

More of an FYI- during wknds a cab cant drop right infront due to the pedestrian zone.

Breakfast was superb especially Vietnamese foods.

Felt like a small luxury hotel. Super comfortable bed and a great shower with high water pressure. Very nice room for the money. It’s not far from the heart of the old quarter chaos, but in a much quieter location. The road around the lake is closed to cars on the weekends, which is nice for walking around. If you need a lift, a Grab pickup point is right at the end of the block too.

We had to order our breakfast the night before, which was pretty annoying. The food was high quality, but everything defaulted to western style. American coffee, sliced toasted baguette, etc. We had to ask to swap out to Vietnamese coffee after we were served. In a lot of ways I would have preferred a more local experience.

I recently stayed at Silk Path Boutique Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The location is great – convenient for getting around and exploring the city. My room was comfortable, and I especially appreciated the large bathroom with very strong water pressure, which made showers super relaxing after a long day out. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would be happy to return.

Staff, location, breakfast, room size.

This was our second time staying at this location. Everything about the hotel is top notch. The staff is super friendly and always welcoming you back in after a day out exploring or wishing you a great day as you head out the door. The breakfast is made to order and always delicious. The rooms are well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring Ha Noi.

My booking said there was a balcony. We booked the grand executive suite. We were on the 2nd floor and there was no balcony just a window. A bit disappointing especially when paying so much.

I loved the location of this boutique hotel across from Hoan Kiem Lake. Close proximity to the Old Quarter and other attractions with a sense of serenity. Staff was helpful and attentive to making my first days’ stay in Hanoi pleasant.

The place is gorgeous. Clean, staff are super helpful. the rooms are very elegant, spacious.

We had a credit at their hotel that we either use it or lose it. So we availed of their airport shuttle. We paid US$55 for a one way trip to the airport. THey said it's bec it's a private van and not a taxi. Turns out it is a taxi that broke down mid way. Not a private van. We only agreed bec we have a credit and if we take a taxi, that would have cost $17-20, that would be on us. That's the only thing we were not happy about.

I was very satisfied during my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice, quiet and clean. The AC and WiFi worked well. The location right at the lake and near the old quarter is also very good.

Location was great - opposite Hoan Kiem lake! I got upgraded to a large vip room - nice for a flood and rainy day in Hanoi

Every staff member was so friendly and helpful and made our stay truly exceptional. The location was central in front of a beautiful lake with lots of dining options, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast delicious with many options. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Nothing, everything was perfect

Welcomed warmly by the reception personnel , Khao and door men were extremely nice, kind, helpful and professional. Always greeted with a smile as soon as we come in, from reception staff and even by the cleaning ladies . Location was perfect, next to the lake but farther away from loud restaurants and busy areas. Takes a short 5 min walk to get to the tourist attractions

As the saying goes, it takes one rotten apple to ruin a beautiful experience. There is one employee at breakfast who on our last morning decided to laugh and gossip about us. Little did he know we can understand him. He thought one of us was Russian. When he was not there it was pleasant and nice. He enters the room, and the vibe changes (not in a good way). He was loud and thinks himself as the center of the universe. He influeunces the other friendly and sweet girls and talking about us WHILE he was standing next to us and we were the ONLY guests there. It is one thing to be rude, but this is worse because it is malicious. We left, waiting for the lift , I looked back and he continues to make comments and laugh and we can still hear him. The previous day, he even talked to us about Silk Path’s expansion plans for a training centre that has not happened yet and he said it’s been two years and nothing has happened. This leaves a very bad impression on me - if I were a shareholder of Silk Path I’d have this employee fired for spreading bad gossip about the company. I would never let this kind of employee dominate and ruin the culture of the staff who were generally soft-spoken, helpful and kind (what I said on my paper review before this morning event happened).
